Located in eastern Orange County, Virginia, Somerset Farms Golf Course lies on the historic Somerset Farms property, along the banks of the Rapidan River with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains on the northern horizon. Somerset Farms is located off Route 3, just 16 miles west of Fredericksburg and less than a one-hour drive away from Washington D.C. and Richmond.

The antebellum setting of the golf course offers the relaxed, refined lifestyle of traditional Virginia, along with today’s finest leisure options. The property’s historic manor house was built in 1834, by James S. Somerville, and used to shelter pickets of General Robert E. Lee’s Army of Northern Virginia during the Civil War. Somerset Farms’ 6500-plus-yard course offers 18 signature holes with traditional and links style play.
